Delivery FAQs


How long will it take for my zofa to arrive? 

From point of order it will only take up to 6 weeks for your sofa to arrive. Every zofa is lovingly handmade by our team of sofa specialists and we will make sure to keep you regularly updated along the whole journey. How exciting!

In the unlikely event that we encounter any problems we will be in touch straight away.

When do you deliver? Do you deliver on weekends?

Delivery times are Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm. Some deliveries are scheduled on weekends but at present this is not something you can specifically request.

Will you take away my old sofa?

Yes, we can, just make sure you tick the box when purchasing your new zofa.. However, there are a few things you need to take in to account.

Our sofa removal option is a “like for like” service. This means that if you are buying a new 3 seater then the one we remove needs to be of a similar size. Also, for example, if you buy one sofa then we can only take one away. If you buy more than one sofa we can take the same number (or less) away at the time of delivery.

Can I request a delivery date?

When your sofa is ready we will contact you and propose a delivery date. If this isn’t convenient you can request an alternative date.

Will my sofa fit through my front door?

We provide detailed dimensions of every product on our website to enable you to work out if it will fit through your front door. All zofas also come with removable arms to help manoeuvre the sofa into and through your home.

I need to delay delivery. Can you hold on to it? 

Yes, we can hold onto it for a week or so. If you need some more time then please let us know when you order your sofa and we can delay the manufacture of it so it isn’t sitting around.

I live in a flat. Will you deliver upstairs? 

We can deliver up 2 flights of stairs. If it is more than this please let us know during ordering and we may be able to accommodate you. If your flat/apartment has a service lift please check the entrance to it to ensure we will be able to use it and that it’s big enough.

What if I need to change my delivery date? 

Please contact us via email and we will change your delivery date. If you contact us after your order has left the couriers you may incur additional delivery costs, as the goods would need to be returned to our courier warehouse and re-booked. Doing this means it’s classed as a re-delivery and will incur new delivery charges.

Does my sofa need putting together?

Some of our zofas do need the feet fitting but the delivery team will do this for you. Likewise if the delivery crew have to remove the arms during delivery they will assemble them again for you.

Returns FAQs


What do I do if I want to send my sofa back?

We really want you to love your new zofa for many years to come but if you do need to return it then you can do so if it’s within 30 days of receiving delivery and it is as new. Please email info@zofa.co.uk with your details and we will be in touch as soon as possible to arrange collection. You will be eligible to receive a full refund minus the collection charge of £199 to cover carrier costs. If it’s outside the 30 day window we won’t be be able to accept the return unless your sofa is faulty.

My sofa is damaged. What do I do?

In the unlikely event that your sofa arrives damaged in any way please contact info@zofa.co.uk with your order details and images of the damage.

Do I need to do anything to prepare my sofa for being returned?

We take great care when preparing and packaging our sofas for delivery and for returned items we ask that you do the same. Ideally the sofa should be packaged and returned in its original packaging or something very similar.

What if I change my mind about my sofa?

If you’d like to return your sofa within 30 days of delivery then you can do so by contacting us on info@zofa.co.uk. Upon return of the sofa you will receive a full refund minus the collection charge of £199 to cover carrier costs. If it’s outside the 30 day window we won’t be able accept the return unless your sofa is faulty.

How long does it take to get a refund?

Once we have received the returned item you will receive a refund within 10 working days. This will be sent to the original payment method used to purchase the product.


We want you to love the look and feel of your new zofa from the moment you set eyes on it (and sit on it of course). We’ll happily send you a box of fabric samples and who knows, we might throw a little something extra in with it too.
