The problem with many sofas these days is that after a year or so, the seat cushion interiors lose their shape and comfort, even after countless plumping sessions, making the sofa look tired. With most retailers only offering a 1-2 year guarantee on the seat cushion interiors, you end up paying out for replacements.

This is where our zof-flex seat cushion sets us apart from the rest. All our seat cushions are moulded from high density, high resilient polymers, with a soft luxurious fibre wrap all the way round. This means you get the perfect combination of long-lasting support, comfort and durability giving you and the family a superb sitting experience. A cushion you don’t have to plump every time you get off the sofa. A cushion that will stand the test of time – so much so we give the zof-flex interior a 10 year guarantee!

How does it work?

Well without getting into too much sofa-science, zof-flex differs from normal foam seats in that it’s made in a mould specifically designed to fit the seat cover, instead of being cut down to size from a big block of foam. As they’re made in a mould, the foam features a skin round the outside which makes the cushion more stable and less likely to compress. This might not sound exciting but what it means is that our cushions are better at stretching, which means they are really comfortable, and they are brilliant at bouncing back to their original and intended shape. The addition of a soft fibre wrap all the way round gives you and extra level of ‘aahhhh’ when you sink into the cushion.

Putting them in the frame

When it comes to our sofa frames, each and every one is hand assembled, using sustainable hardwood timbers. All structural joints are glued, screwed and stapled.

When it comes to guarantees we’ve kept it nice and simple. The frame comes with a 10 year structural guarantee and the seat cushion interiors come with a 10 year guarantee too.

Delivering your new zofa and taking away your old sofa

Out with the old, in with the new. We deliver direct to a room of your choice and can take away your old sofa too!

We’ll keep you up to date with how the handmade build of your sofa is going but when it’s close to completion we’ll be in touch to finalise a delivery date that works best for you. Delivery includes your sofa being taken to a room of your choice, unpacked, arms assembled (if required) and we’ll take away the packaging too. Please click here to read more about our delivery.

    When your lovely new zofa is a few days away from being ready for delivery we’ll be in touch to sort out a convenient delivery slot. It’s time to get excited!

    The big day has arrived. Our friendly team will deliver to a room of your choice, position as required and they will take away the packaging too. It’s time to sit back, relax and just zofa it!

Sofa Recycling

We know that getting rid of your old sofa can be a real pain. But fear not! At zofa we offer a handy, environmentally friendly, Sofa Recycling service where we’ll take away your old sofa when we deliver your new one. Simple!

Just add “Sofa Recycling” to your basket. It’s a like for like service so if you buy one sofa we’ll take away one sofa.
